A long-term rental should be planned around the life of the project, not just its first week. Construction schedules can change because of weather, inspections, material availability, subcontractor sequencing, or changes in scope. Provide the best projected start and end dates, but also explain whether the work will happen continuously, in phases, or with changing crew sizes. This helps shape discussions about unit count and sanitation service. Standard construction site toilets may be appropriate for many crews, while accessible units, handwashing stations, or additional facilities may be needed depending on the users and site conditions. Placement should remain practical through all phases of the job. Avoid an area likely to become a future driveway, excavation zone, material laydown area, or locked-off section of the property. A good location is stable, clear of hazards, and reachable by service equipment without interrupting day-to-day work. Reassess the layout when the project transitions from site work to framing, finishing, or exterior completion.

Communication is particularly important during a long-term rental. Give the provider a current site contact who can address locked gates, schedule changes, access restrictions, or a need to move the unit. If a unit is to be relocated within the property, arrange that change before equipment, fencing, or landscaping prevents access. Track whether the number of regular users has increased or decreased, because that can affect the sanitation plan. Service access should remain clear even when the site is busy with deliveries, workers, and stored materials. For sites with customer traffic or occupied buildings, place restrooms where workers can reach them without creating inconvenience for residents or visitors. The quote request should include the full address, unit types, estimated rental duration, crew or user count, surface conditions, entry instructions, and any requirements for accessible access or handwashing. A detailed plan supports a rental that remains useful, cleanly positioned, and manageable from project start through final pickup.
